A Day and a Life of Ron: Nocturnal Ron

Have you ever had a thing during the summer when you one night stay up all night and sleep all day and you can't stop yourself from sleeping cause you can’t stay up all day but instead you sleep. You see where I’m going here? For the last three days, it’s almost like I’m a nocturnal animal or something. My plan today is to stay up all night and stay up all day and go to sleep at about 7:00 and here in Subic the sun goes down at about 6:00 PM. I’ve tried it before but I couldn’t stay up. I tried to break it the next day but again couldn’t stay up because I laid down on our couch and posted a sign on the wall saying “Up in 30”. But I woke up about six hour’s later. I went to sleep at about nine in the morning and woke up at about two o’clock in the afternoon. So know I feel very confident today even though I felt like this the last three days.  While I type this down it is about five thirty. And exactly when I type this sentence down it is know 5:43. It really is very hard because while you try to stay up all you thing about is going under those comfy covers and close your eyes and rest for hours and hours. There was another plan to force your self to sleep early.  In Subic housing here almost all the houses have an A.C. circulation and turns of and on by itself and during the day when the house is busy you don’t notice at all but when staying up all alone at night when it’s very quiet you here everything. As I finish this sentence it is now 5:52 and really sleepy.

Ron's How To: Ron's DIY Fathers Day Card

Are you stuck on what to do for father’s day? Are you low on cash? And you don't want to give a normal, average, simple card? Are you tired of me asking you hypothetical questions? Well make one of my own great, cheap, meaningful, and good looking father’s day cards.

What you need...

Allot of Paper

Glue

A Permanent Marker

Scissors

And a Folder

Step 1

First, cut out small rectangles. About maybe 20 to 25 pieces of small rectangular pieces of paper. This will act as miniature bills or contracts on your card.

Step 2

Second, label your pieces of paper as bills or contracts or anything that has to with what fathers have to deal with.

Step 3

Third, with your folder cut out a card.

Step 4

Forth, write what you want in your card. I put on one side "Take a BREAK!" and on the other side, "Thank you Dad!!!" then my signature.

Step 5

Fifth, put on strips of glue on the outside of the card.

Step 6

Sixth, is to stick on your bills and contracts onto your card.

Step 7

Seventh, cut out a small piece of paper that will act as a label that says from and to.

Step 8

Eighth, write who it is from and who is it's to.

Step 9

Ninth, the final step is to stick on your label and your done!

Ron Does Be Kind Rewind

☺☺☺☺☻

Ron's Rating- 4/5

A man is magnetized and then comes into a video tape store and erases every movie in the store and what do you get? The answer is Be Kind Rewind. Jack Black and Mos Def play Jerry and Mike who watches over a video store for a friend named Mr. Fletcher played by Danny Glover and know they have erased all their tapes and know are forced to create there own movie in each video they have and they both become famous for their work.  Jack Black has also made movies in movies co-staring in King Kong as a director filming in the scary island they called Skull Island. Mos Def has starred in family comedies such as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy where he stared as Ford Prefect as a hitchhikers in the galaxy. I loved this movie allot and it has a very good story to it. The conflict added in it creates the movie and makes fun of the very famous home videos that made people millionaires. I was bit excited to see how Black Jack and Mos Def act together and how they interact together. Great Movie!

A Day a Life of Ron: Ron and Movie Making

Ron here and I've always loved to make my own little movies and maybe, just maybe when I grow up be a movie director. I made some on YouTube. Like I said before I live in the Philippines and lately there are allot of Koreans, no I mean thousands of Koreans and allot at my school and so like 95% percent of my class are Koreans and so my mini movies have my Korean friends staring in them. Well to start of in being a future director I’ve been learning how to do allot of effects like green screens, cloning, and explosions. Allot more from this guru on YouTube called Indy Mogul.I’ve been doing some mini test films on chromo keying or better known as, using a green screen. I tried it but using a green screen the number one problem is lighting. If you have shadows it’s very hard and since I’m just twelve and with no money it’s hard to get lighting around my house. But first of course I needed a green screen but the DIY green screen that I made was to dark and has to be a lime kind of color. So I got dark green and bright yellow paint and mixed them both to make lime and painted it one my old green screen. At first it didn’t look so good but after evening out the paint it worked out the in the end. I used this free program called Wax 2.0 and it’s really cool. This summer was so boring and so I made a deal with my dad to keep me busy it’s…..

1.         Do something for my family

2.         30 minutes on the treadmill

3.         One blog post with a minimum of 300 hundred words

4.         Practice my math with a program on my computer

I get paid ₱100 and I don’t know what that is in dollars.

Ron Does Kung Fu Panda

☺☺☺☺☻

Ron's Rating- 4/5

Kung Fu panda another DreamWorks animation based in China. About five warriors trained their whole life to be chosen Dragon Warrior some day. Po, voiced by Jack Black is a panda who was always a big fan of kung fu and a bigger fan of the five idols but working in his fathers noodle restaurant it seemed his dream to be the sixth idol would never come true. But in the ceremony of announcing the Dragon Warrior out of the five idols, Po finds his way in and is suddenly crowned the Dragon Warrior. Another thing is coming, Tai Lung voiced by Ian McShane a warrior of long ago that came to the side of evil and has been chained in a very high maximum security prison and has just escaped seeking revenge. Only the Dragon Warrior can stop him.

Jack Black being voiced Po the panda has done his share of animated movies such as Shark TaleDustin Hoffman being voiced the guru and the master of the five idols, Shifu. He has also had his share of being in voice talent movies such as Racing Stripe and in his upcoming animated movie, The Tale of Despereaux.

This is a movie that both adults and children would like and is very funny. I thought this movie had allot of  of attitude  and humor in it. What really like is the intersection of a very fat panda and professional kung fu idols. With also having to train Po to be one of the idols.

Ron Says To Please Don't Do Yellow Cab Pizza

Ron here says if you live in the Philippines to please not go to the pizza place called Yellow Cab Pizza. My dog was just recently stolen and died because of this place and this is the true story of my dogs and what happened.

I was on vacation in the states and just got a text message saying that my dog was lost and didn't know where he was and so we told them to find them and when we came back to the Philippines my uncle was told from a man who worked in the Yellow Cab Pizza place that someone had him. My dad came in to store yelling and protesting if he had our dog and he kept denying he had seen him. but man dad would stop and he just spilled saying he stole our dog by putting him in the back of his motorcycle and leaving him at the restaurant  for two days and then leaving him at his home for a week with no food and soon my butch died. my other dog Ganda was very close to my other dog Butch and almost couldn't live without him and so she died as well  so my father made a deal with the man saying that in seven days if he doesn't give us one healthy male puppy dog he would call the police and the food health department. And so we were given a new dog named Buckeye. will still pass on the story and know it is going nation wide and know there is a social network called Dontdoyellowcabpizza.ning.com.

Ron Does The Bee Movie

☺☺☺☻☻

Ron's Rating- 3/5

Don’t you ever wonder why bees even fly? Their wings are too small to lift their fat little bodies of the ground, but in the "Bee Movie" they don’t care. Barry B. Benson voiced by Jerry Seinfeld in the movie is a bee who wants to go outside the hive. He then does and meets Vanessa bloom voiced by RenĂ©e Zellweger a florist in New York City, and they together attempt to sue the Human Race. Barry Has just graduated and is required to choose a job to help the hive like a stirrer or a crud picker. But What Barry wants is to be a pollen jock, the brave bees that go outside the hive and collect honey. He gets his chance and meets an actual human being, Vanessa bloom. This movie is a very clever movie with hidden jokes just waiting to prance at you. I must say that the animation quality is great and it doesn’t even beat the story.

Ron Does Stranger Than Fiction

☺☺☺☺☻

Ron's Rating- 4/5

Do you sometimes here a voice in your head that says everything you do before you do it? But the only thing is that it told you that you were going to die? Will Ferrell is Harold Crick, an IRS auditor that has an author in his head that suddenly said that he would die! The thing is he doesn’t know why, how, or when. Harold one day was told to audit a small bakery in the city and doesn’t know that it was the plot of the author in his head that would lead him to his death. Harold falls in love with a government hating baker Ana Pascal played by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Directed by Marc Forster that hasn’t done much in his directing career but every time one of his movies comes out they turn out as a blockbuster hit. This is the first time I’ve seen will Ferrell actually act! He usually does stupid but very, very funny movie such as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. He has done surprisingly very well in this movie. It is a very good movie!

Ron Does Meet The Spartans

X

Ron's Rating- 0/5

Have you seen 300? Well why don’t you Meet the Spartans. A movie that plays with the epic movie, 300. Starring Sean Maguire as Leonidas the leader of the 300 or should I say the 10, but with the help of Hollywood magic it all works out. Sean Maguire has done quite a bit of funny comedies such as The Dukes and LA Blues. Maguire has also appeared shows like Eve, Off Centre, Urban Gothic, and Sun Burn that has put him as the star of the movie. In this adult comedy Leonidas is ordered to gather an army of 300 men and attack their enemies, the Persians. I thought that this movie was a bit over rated and is a typical movie of writers and directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. The movie had some adult content and is not suitable for kids of very young age. It is PG-13 and is pretty short, about 84 minutes. It sucked.
